Re:  EXTERNAL JOB POSTING - Open Job Position – GIS Technician I

Beginning Friday, February 21, 2025, Riviera Utilities will begin taking applications to fill a job vacancy for GIS Technician I.  We are considering applicants with qualifications in the following range, salary commensurate with education and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

High school diploma or an acceptable equivalent diploma (GED) and one (1) year of experience using CAD software (AutoCAD preferred), GIS software (ESR ArcGIS Suite preferred), or in computer science, utility operations or similar discipline.

A two (2) year technical degree in GIS, AutoCAD, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline can be used to substitute for the experience requirement.

Licenses or Certifications

None

Special Requirements

Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Driver’s License within 60 days of employment.
