The mission of the GIS Association of Alabama is to provide and facilitate professional GIS growth in Alabama through educational workshops, networking opportunities, and on-line resources.

As a recognized Chapter of URISA International, the GIS Association of Alabama enjoys cooperation and sponsorship from URISA and the other State and Regional Chapters.
