Senior Systems Analyst - Geographic Information Systems - Jefferson County

JOB SUMMARY:

Jefferson County is in search of a seasoned Senior Systems Analyst – GIS. The individual will design and oversee the creation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases, which are essential for GIS data development and mapping. Job holders are expected to manage GIS-related projects, ensuring coordination and communication of project tasks. Senior Systems Analysts – GIS will also develop and deliver training on GIS applications and data to both internal and external customers and stakeholders. As lead workers, they will guide peers or support staff within their department by assigning and reviewing tasks, conducting training, and providing feedback, all in accordance with management's policies, procedures, tools, and directives to fulfill tasks as per established standards.
