The Mississippi State University GEO Project will be returning to Tuscaloosa County for a two-day training, Intro to ArcGIS Pro.

This training is targeted to those unfamiliar with Esri's ArcGIS Pro, new GIS employees, or anyone who may be starting out with the software in the near future.

Introduction to ArcGIS Pro - Tuscaloosa County

Class Dates: 10/7/2026 - 10/8/2026

Class Times: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Location: Tuscaloosa County Synergic Center, 3650 5^th St, Northport, AL

• Class size: The workshop will have a maximum of 25 participants, so register early!

• Cost: FREE for all local, state, and federal government employees

• Course Information: This course introduces basic geographic information systems (GIS) concepts and demonstrates their implementation in ArcGIS Pro.

  • Creating spatial data
  • Implementing data analysis

• Prerequisites:  Basic skills with a Windows 10/11 computer.
• All materials will be provided, including laptops and course materials.
