About
Alison is a GIS Administrator at the City of Tuscaloosa, Information Technology Department. Her focus is on administering portions of the city’s Enterprise GIS, with a high concentration on public safety and CAD dispatch. She has experience utilizing many ESRI products (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, deployed ArcGIS servers for various functions) as well as extensive utility of Safe FME desktop and FME server; she was worked with CityView, CitySourced, LexisNexis(Accurint), Spillman, and CentralSquare software vendors, serving the city’s various GIS needs in surrounding departments.
She graduated from the University of Alabama in 2006 with a B.S in Human Environmental Sciences. She started working with GIS in 2014; in 2016 she became a GIS Analyst in the I.T department and then GIS Administrator in 2019.
Prior to working in the GIS field, she worked in A/R in media and as an Account Analyst/Manager in the health care field.
She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and running (sometimes).
