About
Sarah works as a GIS Specialist, Senior with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and Alabama GIS Office. She has over 11 years of GIS experience in state government and loves to promote the incorporation of GIS in daily operations through training, outreach, and product development. Sarah is a graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery with a Master of Science in Homeland Security and Emergency Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and GIS Certificate. She received her GIS Professional (GISP) certification in 2014. Sarah enjoys spending time with husband and three daughters, coaching basketball, and serving others. She loves to achieve and motivate others to do the same because “maintaining the status quo simply breeds mediocrity” (The Leadership Challenge by James M. Kouzes).
